movie quality suddenly bad

hey
i made a movie and i put it on a friends computer cause i don’t have a dv entrance
i made all the files in avi

i just downloaded the indeo avi and now they work

only problem is, the quality is dramatic!
on my friends computer it was ok, but now on my pc you can count the pixels!!

how do i solve this??
