Hey. Does anybody know if it is possible to encode an mpeg file so that it is the same file size as an avi file but will still play on a conventional dvd player when the files are burned to DVDR?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Hey,
Sorry but I personally wouldn’t mess with it. Encoding that kind of file has it’s limits. What you’re talking about exceeds that limit. Encoding it that small without problems, torn pixels or corruption is impossible. Split it into two DVD’s. It will save you from pullin gthe hair our of your head. To split it into two DVD’s, Use Windows Movie Editor and spit them with the tools they have available.

Fair enough. Didn’t think it would be possible but thought I’d check!

Thanks anyway!
