errors in using winavi video converter

I am a new comer here
hope somebody can help me in this.
I got a message when using the winavi video converter to convert files :
“access violation at address 0156DFF3 in module
'mpeg2dm.ax'. read of address 01B22000”
is it confliect with some other softwares please/

REinstall the software. Sounds like a file is corrupt. If that doesn’t work, post me back.

Good call Sunny May. It’s a good prog, but it will totally fuck up a computer running Windows 95. So if you have anything else, go for it!

I’m asian, I used WinAvi video converter software convert wmv file to VCD. when convert file complete, i used Nero burn CD, but Nero warning file mpg is not Video CD format. Why ? can someone help me???? Thanks

It might be the quality of the movie. It also could be Nero. Nero doesn’t really do a good job.

Dear Cptn_Sargos !
I used Ashampoo Burning Studio 5 Software to burn CD that file is OK, but can’t played on DVD player with VCD support, can only be played on PC. sad

That’s becaues Most DVD players don’t support the VCD format. It’s so they can’t be sued by the MPAA for supporting a common pirated format. They only can use mpg (I THINK). Who know, I could be wrong about the VCD think, but it’s most likely that.

it says that if u are not buying, winavi can only converts 50% of video and i want to ask can mpeg burn to dvd

pity there wasnt a conversion tool out there as fast as winavi and doesnt crash after a first use.

Hiya Im Having A Problem With WinAVI Video Converter When I Convert A Avi Movie To A Dvd Format And Then Leave It To Convert And Then Go To The DVD_01_1 File Then There Is To folder’s one Is The AUDIO_TS And The Other One Is The VIDEO_TS After Its All Converted The AUDIO_TS Has Nothing In It Nothing At All But The VIDEO_TS As Got Things In It And Then I Thought Ok Its Nothing Its Going To Work And Then I burnt It To A Dvd-RW Disk And It Done It But When I Put It In To Watch It There Was No Sound At All But The Movie Was Fine but No Sound So If Any Body Nose What Is Going On And Can Help Me Please Do It Well Be A Great Help Thank You...?

i have a problem with winavi it say error and then it say outdir i really badly need help i used it before but i got a virus and then i had to re do my hole computer so i had to reload it and now it comes up with that can some one plz help me idk understand why it keeps saying that
