I was going to add some movie files, vob, ifo, etc to dvd with Nero.
I keep getting this message with it seems any movies i try and burn I need some help, here is the error code.
One or more files could not be added to a compilation.

The following files may not reside in the VIDEO_TS directory of a DVD-Video compilation. Only compliant DVD-Video files
VIDEO_TS.IFO,
VIDEO_TS.VOB,
VIDEO_TS.BUP,
VTS_nn_0.IFO,
VTS_nn_0.VOB,
VTS_nn_0.BUP and
VTS_nn_m.VOB
can be added to the VIDEO_TS folder. Please add files from a completed DVD-Video title or use an authoring software like Nero Vision to create DVD-Video files from standard video files such as *.avi and *.mpg.

D:\VIDEO_TS-1.IFO

D:\VTS_01_0-1.IFO

D:\VTS_01_1-1.VOB

D:\VTS_01_2-1.VOB

D:\VTS_01_3-1.VOB

D:\VTS_01_4-1.VOB

D:\VTS_01_5-1.VOB

I cant figure it out im not to bright to start with so any help will be appriciated
I never had this problem before.
Thanks in advance

Could it be because all the files in your D: drive have -1 at the end? (Notice it doesn’t match any of the accepted patterns listed in the error message). Try renaming each of them and removing the -1 and see if it works.

Did you try renaming them at all? What error messages do you get (if any) when renaming them, or after feeding the renamed files into nero?
One possibility is you already have files without the -1 suffix, so renaming won’t work (you can’t have files with the same name in the same directory - which may be why the -1 suffix was added in the first place). In that case, create a new folder, move all the files with the -1 suffix there, and rename them all (remove their -1 suffix).
When I say removing the -1 suffix, I mean turn
D:\VTS_01_4-1.VOB
into
D:\VTS_01_4.VOB
and do it for all the files (so that none have their name ending in -1.VOB) To rename files, click on them once, then press F2. Then use the arrow keys and backspace or delete keys to delete selected characters.
