Fake iPod - what can we do to make them work ?

I have a 8gb fake iPod, when I turn it on i’m just getting the hour glass, if i plug it into my numerious computers with different OS’s it will detect the iPod but can not find sofware to install the device, now with this being a fake iPod what sofware will work ? being a generic mp3/4 player looking like iPod I would guess any software for any mp3/4 player would work, but the question is where and how do i get the software and how have other hacked / cracked the fake iPods to work ?

hey, for my fake ipod I use real player. anything in your real player library can be moved onto the “ipod” by first connecting it to the computer, then opening real, going to “my library,", and then on the left hand columm right clicking “devieces” and choose “view” once your there, on the left hand columm duble click the “all media” button. then all you have to do is duble click your files to have them tranfered. the only problem is that it tranformes video to sound so you can’t put video on with this method. if anyone does know how to get vid on them please let me know!

With the above link i may have just answered my question, but thanks for the RealPlayer info (SARA199018), so looks like all we have to do is flash the firmware with Firmware 9.1.52, sounds easy ! now the Question is how do you wake up a dead ipod clone to flash the thing...lol, So i went back to DUBAI, UAE and now have a working one but i thought i’d still help anyone out that may need it, there are a few other on my ship here that may need your / my assistance to get them up and working.
