I am at a loss with this one. I have read through countless forums and threads but can’t seem to make any headway.

My problem is: I have downloaded several avi files that use the Fraunhofer IIS MP3 codec. Nero Showtime will play the file, both video and audio, but when I use Nero Vision Express to burn it to DVD, the audio disappears. I have downloaded and installed the Fraunhofer IIS MP3 codec and G-Spot recognises the codec as being installed.

TMPGENC 3 doesn’t recognise any audio, neither does Dr DivX. Do I have to convert the MP3 to MP2 for DVD compatability?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Funny...no sooner had I posted this thread that I stumbled upon another thread. Apparently others have had this problem and suggested to use AviMux. It took only a few seconds to Mux the avi and voila, it worked when burned to DVD. Hope this will help others.
