I have all players installed. when anything fails VLC plays. but one file I have that even VLC does not play it properly, ?????.DVDSCR.XVID-DVL.avi
I mean it does not report any error, but only the progress bar goes very fast to the end and nothing is played, even a frame or a click of sound. I can not even see details of this movie in statistics menu.

good2go4ne1 Guest | i couldn’t get a movie to play back with any program, divx, wmp, wmp classic, so i used a converter and converted it from mpeg4 > avi and it worked fine, hope this helps.

sofakingcreative Guest | I have downloaded a torrent in XviD-OSIDVD and cannot play it - and there are 38 files in the CD1 folder - all with an “osidvd-tgsdvdscra.r01” file names. I’ve never encountered this. How the heck do I play this?

.r01 is a extention for Rar files. you possibly need to extract them with a proram like winrar or 7zip.
