ON trying to play the DVDSCR-DVL.SKvcd file, assuming u either got in off the n3t or u have it on a CD, if u have XP just update all ur XP files to service pack2, or update ur windows media playerto window media player10 http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/download/default.asp, that’ll do the trick

No you got it all wrong. to play a skvcd just install a software dvd player like cyberlink powerdvd. that will install also a codec to play skvcd. and u can use it also with media player 9 if you want.

Really i am not kidding because it took me 4 days to figure out what to install to play the*&#^#% movie i downloaded

Buxide has it right folks. Trust me. The problem is absolutely the fact that most video player programs do not support the SkvCD format. As Buxide said, you need a player which does support this format. Windows media player does not. Nor do the codecs you can download for it. I suggest you download and install Cyberlink PowerDVD 6 and be done with it. (grin) you can email me if you need to know how to do this.

installing the player also installs a codec for skvcd

I am on a Mac OS X with a divx codec. I have been able to play AVI files no problem. Then I downloaded a movie with DVDSCR-XviD.avi and I have perfect video but no audio. Any ideas? I would greatly appreciate!
