Need to know how to play xVid file, HELP ME!!

Greetings, I downloaded some movies via Bittorrent. When it finish, all I have is a folder full of little files that I cannot play by using my xvid player.
File name ending like alli.st.xvid-dvl. what do I need to play these movies? Any help will be appericate. Thank you.

simplest way is to download a program called “vlc”
it has all the codecs needed to play your xvid movie.
