sorry for my english
Hello, I hope that you can help me. Recently I bought AIPTEK DV5900. In this site I found a tutorial of “how sending of the PC to this” videos in format .asf. The video is seen very well, the problem is that the audio cut while this reproduces.I already used program ASFBIN but it does not repair it. I have realized that when the video is of very bad quality the audio one listens very well, to what it must this?

(-acodec)
adpcm_ima_wav
pcm_s16le
pcm_s16be
pcm_u8
mp3
mp2
adpcm_ms
pcm
aac
g726
ac3
amr_nb
amr_wb
pcm_mulaw
copy
If you are one of the people who have beaten their brains out trying to figure out how to use the IMA ADPCM codec, use this “adpcm_ima_wav” in the command line code.
— — — -
Here’s a sample of it in action:
ffmpeg.exe -i test2.avi -strict 3 -me phods -vcodec mpeg4 -vtag MP4S -s 320x240 -r 20 -b 1200 -acodec adpcm_ima_wav -ac 1 -ar 24000 -ab 32 -f asf CLIP0003.ASF
The sample above converts the file “test2.avi”, a raw non-compressed AVI with raw Audio (or IMA ADPCM audio) to the new file called CLIP0003.ASF, which can be played in a specific video device, like a camera or portable DV player. This sample was written for thr Goodmans GPDR40

DiscoFever Guest | I`m using the SV-AS3 panasonic D-Snap.
When i film a video, it`s in .asf format.
Now, I would like to encode few films i have in .avi, .wmv, and .mpg, to .asf so i can put it on my SD-card and wach it on my d-snap.
FIlms created by d-snap are:
30fps 320x240 XF (extra fine) mode
Audio: - audio sample: 4 bit
- channels: 1 (mono)
- audio sample rate: 8kHz
Video: - video sample size: 24 bit
- stream name: video 2
I hope there might be a free encoder that might solve my problem.
Please help, thx

huuuuffffff Guest | i think i must explain. i have lumicron pma-g1 (ASF_xxxx.ASF format) i applied all, what spin says.(thankyou spin).
here: http://mysite.verizon.net/vze3nvj6/AIPTEK/Hybrid-Camera-Video-Encoding-Guide.pdf
and here: http://mysite.verizon.net/vze3nvj6/AIPTEK/tutorials/AIPTEK_DV5900.html
but my video still scrambled (sound is ok, only video)
so i tried another way; 3gp_converter035 whit this ini setting
Command0=""<%AppPath%>\cores\ffmpeg” -y -i "<%InputFile%>" -title "<%Title%>" -timestamp "<%TimeStamp%>" -bitexact -strict 3 -me phods -vcodec mpeg4 -vtag M4S2 -fixaspect -s 640x480 -r 13 -b 50 -acodec pcm_u8 -ac 1 -ar 8000 -ab 32 -f asf "<%OutputFile%>ASF_.ASF”"
and i take same scrambled result.
but i watch spin’s simpson movie.
i dont undertstand where is the problem. maybe encoding... maybe my mpeg4 encoder file damaged.
and i dont know which file is mpeg4 encoder file.
what must i do? ( im trying 3am to 17pm ))) )
sorry my english. thanks

Hi. I have had an Aiptek DV3500 pocket cam for a while, works great as a poor man’s camcorder, but a few weeks ago it occurred to me that if I could encode video files in the camera’s format I could use it as a portable mini video player.
The camera records ASF files ('IMG_0001.ASF') etc with bitrates of around 200-600kbps. The underlying video codec is 'ISO MPEG-4 Video 1 []' and audio is IMA ADPCM.
I’ve mucked about with VirtualDub, WM Encoder 9 and VIDTOASF.EXE, but can’t crack it, best I get is white noise on the screen and broken audio.
If I could get the ISO MPEG-4 Video 1 [] codec to appear in VirtDub that would help, but it doesn’t. The camera comes with Ulead Video Studio SE and the codec I’m guessing is bundled with the drivers.
Any hints or clever ideas would be much appreciated. This is just an intellectual exercise, but it is starting to drive me mad!
All the best, Glenn (Belfast)
