Hello Guys ..
I have the same problem with my AXISOFT Mobibox H28 i tried the kingbee solution but i get acrappy picture with good audio, but thats was very bad to me and i tried the 3gp convertor using the v726 codec and i get agood picture but unfortunitly with no sound sad .
i need asoftware to merge the v726 video codec with the IMA ADPCM audio codec without changing the audio video material and codecs.
i think that will help us all.
bye for now

I have the aiptek MPVR. It comes with software that converts videos perfectly into asf files. You can buy the software cd online from aiptek.com for 5 bucks.

Where on Aiptek’s website? I see a lot of CDs for all of the cameras, but none for the MPVR or anything for converting ASF.

Upload it to rapidshare.com for us.

i have said that my camera work good with g726 video codec , well the video codec i have chosen was (ASF-QVGA-SD-Video 15fps + G726 Audio Codec) at the 3gp convertor i get agood picture with no audio at this option..

i have discoverd new thing guys !!!
after thousands of searches in video convertors software i discovered something while am trying the SOLIK Video Convertors 2.0 ..!
I have choosed the ISO MPEG-4 V1 Video Codec because my camera record videos using this codec
and i choosed audio codec as uncompressed because there is no support for IMA ADPCM that my camera work in. i chooses uncompresses audio at 22Khz stereo and guess what i get acrappy picture with Excellent Audio sad how ever when i pause the picture while playing the converted video i see the agood frame picture .. i tryind to change the video codec setting to get agood picture but it didn’t work. even i have sent an email for my camera company to see if there is asoftware to convert video or aspacefic settings , but i didn’t get any reply, my camera company said at thier web site that there is aconvertor software bundled with camera but i only found at the cd Windows media encoder+Ulead Video Studio 7.0 SE and other thing for photos any exploring the camera content ..!!

i also concated the 3gp convertor team to see if they can support the IMA ADPCM with the (ASF QVGA-SD-Video ) Video Codec but i didn’t get any reply.

my current researches now to see if i can find asoftware can merge the 3gp convertor Video Setting With another Audio codec like IMA ADPCM or even uncompressed without changing the converted files codecs.
i tried the virtual dub 1.3c since there is an option says it doesnt change the codec content but it didn’t work either sad
am still trying and i will not give up and i hope you guys help me with my researches to solve this problem.
bye for now

I have found a way to get a nice video on my Shiro DVM200!!

But the video runs only in 340 X 280!! When in 640 X 480. The video is slow!!

I first convert the video file into .AVI using virtual dub. Audio: full processing, conversion 16000Hz 16bit mono, compression IMA ADPCM! Then File, save WAV. Now Audio again, WAV audio, select the saved audio! Video: Fast Recompress, compression Real Magic!

FILE, Save as AVI. Now, you should download Kingbee’s guide and tools and continue the steps as from the Vidtoasf one!!

Thnx a lot to KINGBEE!!

Oreano

btw, someone knows a program or a way to resize a video to 640 x 480 while leaving the file intact?? only to resize! not to compress neither sound nor video!!

Hey, I know this has probably been explained earlier in the thread, but I need it to be dumbed down a bit.

I got a Aiptek DV 3500 today for crimbo and I’m starting to get used to it. The thing I’m stuck on is putting Movie files onto it to watch and show my friends.

I downloaded a converter To try and convert .mpg into .asf but when I try to play it on the cam it says theres an error with the file and I’m stuck for what to do!

I’d be greatful if anyone could help.

Thanks, Jay
