avi to dvd format no audio

Hi when I convert some avi files to dvd format I keep getting an error message saying audio system overflow and then it stops converting file about 5 seconds from the end and if I try and play it there is no audio apart from a loud beep but I do have full picture from start to finish

Hi thanks for that greatly appriciated. I wonder if you can help with another query I have. I have a film which is not in English with no subtitles is there any programs that can convert it to English. I have seen some dvds which are produced in different languages or can that only be done by the producers of the dvd.
