Ariel Guest | I need help burning a avi to svcd. the avi is to big and then if i cut it in half its good but when i burn it with nero and then when nero encodes it, the file gets bigger and says it needs a greater cd. what do i have to do so an avi can fit on a cd?

In this case you might have to do some math to predict the end file’s size before splitting the file. What was the size of the svcd data after you converted the file that you split into two? multiply that by two, then divide it by 600 (to be on the safe side) to see how many parts you should split it into. (I hope you’re using virtualdub - direct stream copy - to split!)

BobTheDevilAndGod Guest | You must convert it. I advise TMPGEnc, it does all the math for you. lol takes some time to do tho.
