MMA Viking Guest | Ok i’ve read threw and try just about everyone’s ideas to get my video to work.. It’s saved in Mydocuments/Myvideos.. it plays in WMP, but when I try to import it to WMM it does not show, but if I type in file name it pops up a filename.flv so i select it and click import but it gives me this code.. The file C:\Documents and Settings\David The Viking\My Documents\My Videos\1 Second MMA Fight.flv is not a supported file type, and it cannot be imported into Windows Movie Maker.
“HELP” I’ve tried system restore, Tools options compatibilty clicked all boxes, tools options general download codes auto.. Nothing has worked code stays the same.. “HELP” Please respond to mma_viking@hotmail.com. I need to know how to fix this and what adzact code to download if needed

pierre Guest | *** how to fix ***
simply go onto movie maker
1) go to “tools”
2) go to “options..."
3) go to “advanced” and tick “download all codecs”
4) go to “compatability” and tick tha last box named “ffdshow MPEG-4 video decoder
*** ps the reason it stopped working was because of the update it reset the settings ***

happy AVI burning
I read through the pages until I came upon this guys post. I tried it and it works, took all of less than a minute. Just download for whatever OS you have and run through the setup, then your .avi files should import. And to the guy talking about the avi files being encoded in divx, kudos to you =) (He’s right)

lance Guest | OK BITCHES i figured it out ..................getting audio files into windows movie maker without using codec! what i did was rip the audio i had on a cd to windows media player instead of itunes, another way to do it if u dont have the cd would be to convert the .m4a file to a .wma file.
