Ok, here’s a quick tip, as I’ve experienced a lot of this, and what you need to be looking at is that .nfo file. That is the file type used by many a creator to put in instructions for how to use the files, if there is any possibility for confusion. Just open it with notepad (trust me, it works... don’t just double-click it, as it will turn up as a “corrupted/damaged” system info file, thus the ".nfo” filetype [.iNFO]).

WOW dont listen to that guy he doesnt no what he is talking about. Why in the world would u have to change a .bin or.cue file to a .iso. A .bin and .cue files is a image just like .iso Go to image burning point to the .cue file and it tells your burner what, and how to burn the .bin which is the image of the original disk.
NEVER change any extensions on any file it will corrupt them and make fatal errors. There are programs that change .zips into other formats like .rar or .iso changing the extension just confuses your computer to think its one thing in which it is not.
man i got the files unrared but i got 1 folder with the cue bin thing and like 30 odd other files that look like 3 books stacked on top of eachother and when i open them they also got bin cue files which ones do i burn for the program to work?

niteworlok Guest | once u got all the .rar files in a folder, use winrar to extract them, they should then create an .iso image file, I use dvd decrypter to then burn it to dvd!

Beginnerneedinghelp Guest | How do i open a zip file and put the files on my desktop?.
| |
| 27 Feb 2007 07:02 am |
Codevic Guest | bneedinghelp - you need to first download and install Winzip itself (free download on net) obviously. Then when using Winzip, you can “put” (extract) files to any folder on your computer OR to the desktop. BUT!! if you insist on the desktop - first make a folder there. — - Right click on desktop == in side pop out menu choose “New” which’ll let you make a new FOLDER on the desktop. That way when you Winzip your file to extract the zipped files, you’ll have them in one tidy folder instead of scattered all over the desktop. Some zip files can contain a dozen or more files. A lot of companies will tell you use desktop but that is to find the downloaded zip file easier. After install of contents, I put the new folder in a folder called downloads under C:\Drive in case I need to reinstall the proggie later. Desktop stays uncluttered that way.

StingZ Guest | Lee42001 : Grow the fuck up, you racist dicknoodle.
gspotpimp : Was there a point in typing that if you didn’t want help?
saadelabady : Why quote someone that uses “u”, “you” “wut” “xtracted” “r” “2”( meant to be “to” in the same sentence? Do you not have the decency to at least correct his horrid grammar and spelling before submitting the post?
mohan454 : I thought people could use their common sense, but I guess not. Let’s go over this step by step.
First, we must LEARN what the words REALLY mean. Do this by opening your Internet browser, and typing in the URL box: http://www.dictionary.com/
Hopefully, you know how to search for the words.
Search for: Encrypted .
After knowing what the definition is, repeatedly slam your face into a brick wall.
if you’re looking for a shorter solution, here it is:
The person who put the files in a WinRAR archive encrypted it. To get the password, you must find someone that knows the password to that EXACT WinRAR archive file.
This is the reason why you avoid RAR files through .torrent files, they compress ~3mb. Great, saves you 2.5 seconds if you have a decent connection to the internet.

SIMPLYPUT Guest | some of us come to these forums to learn and fix problems that we dont know how to fix and occassionally we can help someone else with a simialr problem. Lee420, im a research mngr for IBM with a PHD in computer engineering. Sometimes files need to be changed depending on how the file was posted. If I can only play files that are in .avi and I get one thats mp3/4 or .mov or a different file that for some reason I cant use then one would need to change the file ext. or download a program equiped for handling other file types. There are tons of different “for instances” out there for someone to be wrong or right. Get a grip lee.
I like best buy!

Marcus Aurelius Guest | I “like” to see this. A post from 2005 about files and extensions a piece of shit like Lee whatever number coming back with the best racist reply FU whatever is very technical. I have a question for a moderator or so called moderator or a owner like Bjarne: Where the hell are you? This site is a pain day by day and has nothing to do with movie codecs. I think I got enough and I go to read or watch tv is anyway better. And BTW Bjarne between sooooo many rules you can write GIVE RESPECT, GET RESPECT is on the wall in every Canadian high school.
