Ginny Guest | I know Alcohol will handle cd+g although I haven’t tried it myself.
I am having a problem converting bin and cue files from a movie dl, to something I can watch and burn to dvd.
I have alcohol, nero 6, divx to dvd,vdcgear and can’t figure any of them out.
I’ve tried with alcohol and it makes a file called vcd but doesn’t play in anything.
vcdgear made a file unknown, won’t play in anything.
nero will burn the file but whats the use, can’t play it.
Can anyone give me a step by step on how to turn it into mpeg or some format I can actually watch?

Dakur2002 Guest | Ok, I have read over every tutorial I can find on the net, even the step by step intsructions people have gave here. I must be completely and utterly lost, everytime I read a new thing it gets me more lost. So im just gonna throw my questions out here and hopefully someone can give me a detail explaination or a step by step newbie instructions.
I have downloaded a movie, I used winzip to extract it, It came out into 2 folders CD1 and CD2, In each folder contains about 25-30 Winrar files, that look to have Bin Files inside them, They also have R30-R45 Files in each folder.
I have nero and alcohol, but i havent the slightest clue HOW to use alcohol 120%. when I try to “mount” something on the virtual drive, What do i mount since I dont have any bin files and if i extract them all ill have like 90 total bin files. Im trying to find an easy way of putting these on a playable dvd for pc and stand alone dvd players.
I dont have any bin files, they are still inside the winrar files, When i extract one, and try another one it wants to to overwrite them, I can play the files just fine in Video Lan, but I dont know how to get them on a dvd. Do i need to extract and renaming all the winrar’d bin files? if so then what? how do I combine them into one giant bin file? I am really lost here and I dunno what else to do.
Any detailed help would be very nice and appreciated, Thanks

big Reese Guest | i found the extracting the files from the bin/cue state with isoBuster and then using my divx to dvd to convert the files into vob files then using disc copier to burn to a dvd. i found this to be pretty simple for those of us who still likes to use Roxio

just wondering Guest | approx how many movies can i get onto a 4.7 gig disk after all the conversion? is it pointless to even bother putting more than one full movie on the disk?

Ascromortar Guest | OK I just downloaded VCD Gear and tried using it to convert a BIN file into Mpeg (its Grindhouse part 1) and afterward I watched it quickly on media player to check it and the video is a mess - its scrambled and mixed up everywhere and it freezes all the time - compeltely unwatchable.
What went wrong here??

Ffire Guest | hi all im on a mac computer and have a problem with toast 7 and my bin cue file for my movie.
I have tried clicking on image and mounting it
1st thing where does it mount to? im lost
2nd thing i have tried going on image and clicking the copy button on to a cd then putting it back on the desk top opening the now called VIDEOCD finding the MPEGAV clicking the folder and seeing the .dat folder someone told me that i should copy this .dat folder on to the desk top PROBLEM it wount let me
so then i tried vcdgear this didnt work either
if anyone out there can help me with my bin cue file and how to get it on to a disc to play in my dvd player using toast titanium 7 for the mac i’d much appreciate it

I used Daemon Tools to mount both my movie files then I used Nero Vision from Nero Ultra to copy them it asked me to copy to HDD which was not a problem then I just using Nero now to burn them as DVD. was pretty easy thanks for all your help because I know for like years I’ve been burning to one cd at a time and I know persons who burn on cdrw then take those files and merge onto one dvd that’s a long process.
