Upside down XViD videos

I have a problem viewing avi files of the xvid format. There video plays but it is shown upside down. There are like so many different package of XViDs on the net and I dunno which one to use. Please help. Thank you.

Uninstall all previous packages - these are probably Codec Packs, like Nimo? Make sure all of these are uninstalled. Also uninstall any stand-alone versions of XviD. This must be done before doing the following:

Now install:

- 3ivX (http://www.3ivx.com/download/index.html) - decodes both DivX and XviD.
- Moonlight Odio Dekoda 1.23 (http://www.movieking.co.uk/files/index.php?action=file&id=5) - decodes both AC3 and MP3 audio.
