friend asked to play this .m4c file, and i couldn’t!

how to playbakc .m4c? do i need to convert it first?

i had tried install a splitter, ffdshow, and MPC; couldnt make it work, am i lack of specific codec?

i have idm4c codec, but i do not know how to operate it.

tried three days full with no outcome.
