please elaborate on your answer. my question involved how come it is not running from the virtual cd rom drive. why would i need to place the cd in the drive if the virtual mounted drive appears to the system as a physical cd rom drive?

I didnt know you needed the cd, image or otherwise after installation.

No Cd is to do with disc protection those that have been ripped dont have any.
Well you could try the emulation, I usually just use the crack, as you didnt want to I suggested you take out the original exe to a different folder then use the crack so as you can put it back later for updates.

guys i really really need help, PLZ help a poor brotha out here, ok here is my prob, i dowloaded needforspeed underground 2 and it gave me two iso files right, ok now i used ahead nero 6 ultra edition to burn each .iso file onto one cd , so i have one .iso file on one cd, two cds in total, for disk one and disk two, ok so, i installed the game and installation was flawless, BUT when i load up the game, (i put disk one in) and hit play it says please insert disk two, so i insert disk two, then it says, wrong cd, please put in the correct cd, i also tried to launch it from desktop icon but same thing, i cant put both files on one cd, and i tried with dvd+r but says it wont work! do u think dvd-r will work,
any help on this would be greatly appreciated

to:someblackguy7130 go google.com and search and download a nocd patch for the game and copy it over the .exe in the game folder and it s gonna ask you if you want to overwrite the file select yes....now you dont even need the cd....lemme know if that works.....~john

ok i got a question if someone could plz help i d/l some games they all load up but after a little while they close. is this a prob with my pc or game?

to 00chiemama and all: you say i can have the original exe in a differet folder. I do have that now. but when patching it needs the original exe. Doesnt that have to stay when i am playing in order to get the effect of the patch and updates. or is it a thing where i use the original to patch and then switch the crack over to play. I had thought since the exe file size changes when patching, that when i use the crack, i am ot getting the effects and results of the patching?

You would need a different crack if u updated. These are hard to find esp for a specific version. Most intended updates are included with their original downloads. A game that has been around for some time would more likely to be the latest version.

Hi folks!
I’ve a problem:
1-some abandonware downloads are .RAR files.
2-with winRAR,I get .ISO files (1 and sometimes .CUE with).
3-HOW TO USE “ISOBUSTER” TO INSTALL THE GAME???
Please, help!I’ve barely escaped from madness and I don’t want to go back;HELP me to find the right way...

Help plz...i burned a game using Alcohol 120 and installed it correctly..but when i try to play it..it keeps telling me to insert the correct cd rom.can some one help me. And yes i tried unchecking the box on the alcohol and it still tells me to insert the correct cd-rom

I created an MDS File for my game. When I tried to run the game, the game detected emulation? How do i create an MDS File for my game so the game won’t detect it as an emulation?

Also, the usual MDS Files I create is aorund 650MB. But a downloaded an MDS file for another game and it was only 2MB. How did they create that MDS File??

Hi guys, recently d/l 2 bin files (its a movie)ok so the problem i got after extracting all the data is garbled audio and no video!!! i think i got most codecs could this just be a corrupt d/l....any help would be crackin, thanks

I have BIN and CUE files - game is called “Agressive Online” and it’s PS2 game. It have to be burn on dvd cos it is too huge for cd disc, so.....
I cant burn it in Nero cos message is showing “imput cd disc” or something, so i cant burn it on dvd disc. A120% is useless either.
I think i have to change files to “better” format ...but question is how....
Please help if you can. :]

hey i’ve downloaded a game
and i got 2 files
one a .bin
two a.cue

i’ve readed here that you can burn that on a disk and then it should work, but i don’t get which one i’ve to burn and what to do with the other file...
