As far as I know, the only type of mp4 player that really uses amv format is the X-Micro, and that comes with a CDROM which has the software on it. But, if you have something else which didnt come with software, I believe that there is stuff available through bittorrent downloading. Unfortunately, not a very wide-spread filetype, so also not a great one to try to... errr.... use. At all.

Hi all,

I’ve found an AMV convertor here: http://www.mediaplayers.co.nz/downloads.htm.

Look for the “AMV Convertor Tool” down the bottom of that page.

Download while it’s still available.
It comes with a convertor, player and firmware updating tool as well.

It’s very fast to convert as well, so don’t worry too much about that.

deepika — Use a converter (such as Real Converter: http://www.share2.com/real_converter/ ) to convert the file into .rm or similar. Then put it on your phone and it should work.
