Hi i have had really strange problems trying to burn cd’s using windows media player. most of the time it wont work it just says there is an error and that the player cannot copy the files, when i click on the error details it says that the codec is not installed, but i have already played the songs in the player and it worked, and also if i try to copy it many times after awhile it will finally work, like after maybe clicking it and trying to copy it 30-40 times so it will copy but it just acts really weird. so i was wondering if anyone could help me out i would really appreciate it thanks. i am running windows media player 9 on windows xp.

I have the same problem, I don’t know why but all the files say cannot copy, when I try to burn them. Yes they do play on my the computer, but they won’t burn. I am using wmp 9 after thinking that if I upgraded to 10 it would work, but it didn’t so I’m back to nine.
