Regular Rep: 0 Joined: 14 Nov 2003 Posts: 615 OFFLINE | It can’t be removed without altering the video quality. What it boils down to is - it will need to be smeared or the video will need cropping. This will no doubt result in the quality-loss.
The watermark can’t simply be removed, leaving a clean area behind, since it *is* part of the movie. Tampering with it only damages the image. | |

Open VirtualDub and follow Nicky’s guides:

I’ve never had to do it because I don’t obtain/use DVDScreeners etc. plus I don’t use VirtualDub to encode (I use Auto Gordian Knot (AutoGK). Also, I just wait for the retails/proper releases. Better quality and no watermarks :-). | |
