I’ve recently gotten a 1080p version of Serenity saved as a .evo file, and I’ve been having a bloody awful time getting it to work.

I’ve got the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack and I turned on the Haali TS/PS, or whatever it’s called.

I found that although the file did not play, I could skip to any point in the file and it would show me a (beautiful) still image. This is in Media Player Classic.

Right clicking the tray icon, I changed audio tracks and.... it works!! It plays perfectly (even using both my CPU cores properly) so long as I’m listening to the director’s commentary.... *hits head*

So, I figure, it’s got some fancy 20000.1 surround-sound encoded sound, that my computer doesn’t like. Anyone know if there is a checkbox I can click to make it work? A codec I just need to enable?

Any help, mucho appreciated!
