I am getting a message error: 0xC00D11D2 when WMP tries to play any audio file that I took from a CD on another account using WinXP. MusicMatch cannot access it either, which is the player used to convert & save the files. However, when I sign into the account I did the work on, it plays fine.

Why can I not access copied media from another account when the songs are in my shared folder?huh
To me this doesn’t make any sense...!smiley

Well, I went in under Safe Mode & added this account and rebooted. In thinking of exactly what I posted, I neglected to mention the fact that the folder in question is a shared folder I should be accessible to “All Users” of this computer. I cannot figure out why I still cannot play the media files sitting in “Shared Music” & have added a Read/Write attribute under this account name within the Adminiter’s account/Safe Mode.

Any suggestions?

I am leery of selecting Move Folder & selecting the same “Shared Music” folder to relocate the files & sub-folders...lol
