Oh_just_me_again Guest | "Any Video Converter” - free, found on download dotcom.
I use it so much and am so happy I plan to pay them 4 pro @sometime. Best free app I’ve found in a while.
My first purpose was to convert flv web captures to avi.
Then I used to transcode the odd file not working/playable/burnable in my normal apps.
Now I use to prep before Nero transcode/DVD burning. Makes the finished (iso) dvd look spectacular.

If you are mac user, iSkysoft iPod Movie Converter for Mac is free this month. It can convert any video to mp4.
