If you can play your dvr file with the system video player provided by your camera system on your computer, than you can use CamStudio to record it, and convert it to an AVI file. CamStudio records the video as it plays on the screen and converts it to avi. You can adjust the size of the area to record, crop it, etc. It works, and you can load it up on windows media player, or import it into windows movie maker and convert it to a WMV file for YouTube. GO TO CamStudio on google. You can download it for free, and you need to download the lossless codec package as well. The site gives where to go and what to download. Its great, and don’t forget to donate, it works, so help the guy out and show your appreciation.
