Of course you’ll need a microphone to record any audio.
Another options is to use [http://www.virtualdub.org]VirtualDub[/url]. Open VirtualDub, click file, capture AVI. Then click on device and select your webcam.
A few tips: when recording video, be sure to select a codec with decent compression. If you don’t select a codec, the video will be uncompressed and HUGE (as in 1 MB per frame or more - aka 15/30MB per second of video).
