I use a Powerbook G4 mac and was wondering how I can play AVI files on it. Any thing i can do?

QuickTime should be able to play some avi’s, though the number of codecs it covers is likely limited. (For example you’d have to get the divx or indeo 5 codecs manually, and some like wmv9 (for avi) just don’t exist for the mac platform). You could try videolan for broader coverage, and if you have mac os x, you can try mplayer for mac os x. mplayer handles an amazing range of video formats.
