Frankvob Guest | You dont need to convert a .vob file to get a .mpg file.
Only thing you need to do is replace the .vob with .mpg and its a mpg. The file stays the same but you can play it with mediaplayer.

Xoomie Guest | I’ve never had any annoying pop ups from DVD Shrink myself but of course it’s not really designed as a vob player. VLC is actually amazing I think. It even plays supported files with the wrong extension or container.

stonie Guest | This is what I did when my windows media player wouldn’t play the VOB file , I just renamed the extension .VOB to .AVI yeah I know it says it could make it unplayable , but hey it worked , to change it back just rename the extension again back to .VOB . so there was no need to download this or install that. To rename your file extension you must have that feature turned on in your folder options.

jonghyun Guest | hey, you don’t need any codec to playback vob files in wmp 11. just rename .vob to .mpg.

TheOne001 Guest | How do I convert it so that it’ll import into Windows Movie Maker? I mean I can get the VOB files in there. But when I push play, they just stay froze OR they don’t have n/e sound.
