Adam24 Guest | I’m having trouble downloading this codec. These two sites have it

But when I go to install the exe, it doesn’t. It just stops and the videos I need don’t work. Does anyone know where I can get it?

Perhaps a 32-bit installer might give you more luck

If the file still won’t play chances are it’s truncated or otherwise corrupt. In that case give avipreview or Media Player Classic a try.

avalones Guest | Hmmm... IV50, FFDSHOW, and the latest DIVX codecs should be more than enough. Perhaps you could stop using the pathetic WMP? Try RealPlayer instead, and if you want the best player out there, get VCL Media Player!
GSPOT, tells you which codecs, both audio/video are required to play some files, perhaps using it and then searching for the proper codec(s) would be the best thing to do.
