I have created a multi-media guide to show how you can use AutoGK (Auto Gordian Knot) to create a DivX file from a DVD movie. The presentation has 2 AVI files to show you excatly what to do in an easy to understand format. It weighes in at a 7MB download.

I do NOT have a home for this at the moment but it is available for download for a few hours here:

Enjoy!!! smiley

Could you email me the guide. I have been reading the Autogk forums and going through the tutorial, but I am still having problems. And here’s a stupid question: When you are finished with AutoGK and you have burned using Nero, when you put the disk into a standalone or PC, should the movie start automatically? My player keeps saying NO DISK, and on my PC I have finally gotten one of my attempts to play video AND audio, but in Nero’s player I am having to go to MEDIA FILES?
Please use email:

Yes, I will try and send it to you via e-mail. For some reason it was taken off this site and never put back on sad

When you put a DVD in your PC it can autoplay, a box will popup asking you what you want to do with it in which case you select your DVD playing software (PowerDVD, WinDVD etc..) and it will play (in Windows XP). If this is not happening it could be the DVD was burned wrong. It’s very important than when burning your movie DVD u burn it as a DVD-MOVIE and NOT as a DATA DVD. You can use Nero Express for this (which is part of the Nero package), this packages simplifies the Nero interface making it easier to use.

Hope this helps...
