forwiller7576 Guest | I bought my son this mp3 player about a week ago. It played fine at first, now all of a sudden it has froze up and won’t do anything.All you see is an hour glass. please help me fix this thing.

bambigarcia421 Guest | To fix the boot problem, you have to remove the back cover and disconnect the battery for 3 to 5 minutes. This will reset the TSOP chip, thats the chip that stores the firmware and your music.
If you know how to use a soldering iron just remove the red wire from the battery. If you don’t have soldering iron, just cut the red wire from the battery, making sure to keep enough space to splice it back together, after you splice it back, put some black tape on it to protect it from shorting, not to much though, not a lot of room.

justa_she_devil Guest | I am having the same problem. I have did the cutting of the wires and leaving them apart for now going on 6 hours and when I plug it in it does the samething with the hour glass. Any other suggestions?
