I used VSO DivxToDVD to convert the file then I use DVD Shrink to burn it to disk. With these two files its pretty easy to use and understand.

I reccomend you just get one of the newer DVD players that can actually handle the files. It will save you more trouble...

the last post refers to the latest dvd players which can play divx and xvid as well as normal dvds vcds and svcds...

just buy a cheap one and you wont have to recode xvid files anymore.

Get the DivX to DVD from VSO it’s the fastest and you can burn with VSO Copy to DVD or Clone DVD2.TMPGenc is not finding a Xvideo file. Here is the link for VSO: http://www.vso-software.fr/ .On my computer with a 3.4 Ghz CPU and 1Gb Ram is taking 25 minutes to convert a 700 MB Xvid file.

Use WinRar for each cd go to menu select all and extract wherever you like.If is a Xvideo file click on this site on “media player” and download which one you want. For Xvideo I use besides the DivX, BSplayer and VLC.If you have only image and no sound go to “audio codecs” and download AC3.For video codecs install tools from “find out what codecs you need” on home page on this site and Avicodecs or GSpot is going to tell you what codecs you need. How to burn this file is another story.
