What is good DVD to CD back up software

Bought the kids a LS50 portable DVD player and I can see now that my DVD’s are going to be abused so I would like to back up the kids movied onto CD in Divx Xvid etc format.

I did try Dr Divx wich would not copy from store bought DVD it is only good for your own homade movies.

What software is good to use and also simple to use?

Thanks I have installed the program 1.60 it says that I have to use a DVDDcrypter I can not find that in the AutoGK 1.60 ? Is that a seperate download and where do I find it?
