Also there’s a chance the file is an audio-only file (you’ll only get one line in Format). Sometimes people rename their songs to other extensions (maybe to dodge the RIAA? who knows?), but it’s also possible to have audio-only or video-only MOV files. As a matter of fact, when you do a voice recording in QuickTime Pro, one of the available choices to save in is MOV.
