SVCD keeps changing my desktop resolution!?

Hi!

I got this really odd problem with SVCD changing my resolution (if opened in Windows Media Player, BSPlayer, or such). I workes just perfectky in WinDVD though...

Can anyone explain why this is? This is really annoying, as it changes my resolution when it tries to preview the files too. And well, I think it is SVCD-I’m not quite sure, as there’s nothing like GSPot for mpg...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
