Thanks reducing the video acceleration to min in tools-options- performance ....worked and solved this green screen problem...it was that easy ...i didnt no...

DO THIS TO FIX GREEN VIDEO SCREEN ON PC wrote: Click Start
Choose Control Panel
Click Display Icon
Click on Settings
Click on Advanced
Click on Trouble Shoot
Reduce the Hardware acceleration slider from Full to half way or one quarter.
Thats it.....

Hi,
The video works (no more green screen) if we turn down the video acceleration to zero. However, with zero acceleration, it does not switch to full screen mode. Could anybody help? Please..

it seems that it’s impossible to find ffdshow 01-03-2003 to download. i had this problem always, please someone HELP AND FIND A SOLUTION THAT WORKS. TRIED EVERYTHING.

acceleration lowering worked, but thats a bad solution, cause its lowering video quality. PLEASE SOMEONE, PLEASE

am i blind or what, but they dont offer it, FFDSHOW rev. 529 (20061113) is oldest version available.

I know and understand NOTHING AT ALL about codecs etc...

I did what “WAYZ” suggested (after hours of messing about with everyone’s technical solutions) and the green screen problem was fixed instantly.

I STRONGLY suggest anyone having green screen problems tries what he suggests before messing about with downloads. It’s safe and simple.

(open windows media player, under tools click options, then the performance tab and reduce the video acceleration to none - that simple!!)

I started getting the green screen problem about 6 months ago.. I just tried this fix posted by a guest on March 11, 2007... IT WORKED PERFECTLY..NO GREEN SCREENS - so far!
