torrent file wont open

i am downloading a torrent file and putting it in my saved list but when i go to open the link in either windows media player or real player 10 it wont open
i goes -real need to download new software to play the file
then it tries to go to real for the download but comes up with no download available
then if i try play again it says file corrupt or player does not support file type
and the file type is rar file
would appreciate any help anyone can give

probaly hasent finsihed downloading or has to go 100 percent and green or whatever hell colour goes to tired to think if has finshed view with gspot see if missing codec download said codec from err here
