bert Guest | Short and sweet - hope it sorts
XVID is different frame rate to DIVX cos I can play XVID stuff under windows media player but not DIVX player so you will need the
XVID CODEC available here
http://www.xvidmovies.com/codec/
choice of windows and Mac
Ok Bye :-)
Feel sorry for thoses given spoof answer about duff films as this could be the New CODEC used as compression technology is better.

Hacker Guest | are you all stupid or what??
FOURCC is a acronym for MOVIE COMPRESSION
code 0 is a generic codec
cheezy webcam software such as AMCAP create .avi with code 0
also like some of you have stated it could be a fake video, because 0 means null.. in other words there was none found!
like someone stated you can rename to .mpg in most cases it should play the file (my winamp launches it for me)
with some video editing software you can convert it to a better codec.. (ex: im using Adobe Premiere Pro)
note the following codecs are installed on my computer:
DIVX, XVID, MPEG4 | |
