DVD's freeze around 50-100 minutes.

I use DVD shrink 3.1 to extract the TS files and SONIC tp burn the disc’s.
I was wondering why the movies stop playing around 50 - 100 minutes.
I start to see blocks of distorted images and the movies jumps around.
What could be the problems?
