Hi people....i have a problem, i try everything and nothing fix the problem, movies don’t play so good picture is green or rainbow, sound going on, games go good only movies *.avi work with divx player only with him, other *.mpg, *.wmv and everything else dont work i try almost every codec and nothing fix the problem i have Asus 2600XT 256Mb before that i have Asus 1600pro and everything was working all right...

Salut à tous,
Voilà sa fait un moment dès que j’ouvre une video, ou un dossier... sa m’affiche “xvidcore.dll not found” et soit je fait ok et il se réaffiche ou la croix rouge mais après sa me dit explorer a rencontré un problème et doit fermer. Donc je ne sais pas tu tout pourquoi sa me fait sa ? vous pouvez m’aider svp merci d’avance

I had xvidcore.dll error pop up every time I opened a video file. This solved the problem. Thanks for the link!

I’m having the same problem as Aschwin de Haas with my windows movie maker. The xvidcore.dll thing not found. And I don’t really know what to do. I tried going to that site, what am I supposed to download? Please help!

Some of the earlier links posted were to Koepi’s site, but it’s dead now. You can get the last version of xvid here though: http://www.moviecodec.com/downloads/8d.html

Can anyone help. I am trying to help my father install the divx codecs onto his company laptop but he doesnt have admin priv. is there anyway around this? any help is greatly appreciated

I couldn’t delete the last letters from the extentsion (xvid.ax) but I changed it in xvid.dll. Till now it’s working. Was this a good idea or am I ruining my system?
