some of the files i am backing up burn well and some show up on my dvd player invalid format of no play. am i just getting bad files to back up, am i missing something?

im trying to burn a dvd using convertx to dvd and i get the error message ... Burn wrire error at 0 (16) - code 06 29 00 unit attention , power on or bus device reset occurred.
any help would be greatly appreciated
