wow... i didn’t know things could be so complicated.
tried this...http://www.winavi.com/RMdll.rar...didnt work
trying this...http://www.codec-archiv.de/win/altern/realalt136[Codec-Download.de].exe according to previous experiences.. i dont think it will work... i just wanna convert a mov file and a swf file... does ne1 know of a good converter where u just have to download 1 THING..

When I try to convert a rm file to dvd, avi or other formats i get a message from the system teling me that the file is not supported by my players and i need to download realmedia decoder what do i do what kind of realmedia do i need to intall. for win avi to work.

I have downloaded codecs, converted avi to dvd and burnt onto a dvd which is all very exciting but my problem is that when I play it on my dvd player to watch on TV it plays for a couple of seconds and then stops ... can anyone advise what is wrong?

I dont know if you have some program to read RMVB file or other video file extension before conveting it to another one. I had the same problem by converting a file RMVB to AVI. It did tell me “download realmedia decoder”, but I’ve solved my problem by downloading a program which is called “Real Alternativ 1.51” at:

http://www.free-codecs.com/Real_Alternative_download.htm

When I installed this program on my pc, the winAVI could convert all my video files with no problem
