how do I post audio/ video?

I know this sounds stupid, but I don’t know how to post audio or video. Does it have to be on a server, or just my computer? How do I do it? Can someone walk me through it and tell me what I need? I visit musician boards and want to post some of my stuff, but don’t know how.

Please help the computer challenged!!

If the board has it enabled, you can post attachments to go along with your text posts. Just start the post like you would on a normal board. The post window will probably have a box like “browse” or “attach”. Click it, select your file, and click any additional buttons as needed and you should be good to go.
