wasup Guest | Im trying to merge some .mpg files. they belong to the same scene, and are all playable parts, but the end of each part has exactly the same frames (around 10) of the beggining of the next part, SO when I join them the video play the cut momments with problems (obviously).
do u know any program or vdub plugin that can find duplicated frames so I can delete them? I know I could do it manually, but there r 100s of parts, and it would be a real PITA to do that by hand.
any help would be appreciated
thanks in advance

If you just want to merge mpeg’s use TMPGEnc from tmpgenc.net. Go to tools, mpeg tools, then merge & cut tab. Select your mpeg stream type, and the rest should be pretty intuitive. Just add and delete segments as you wish and move frame by frame as you wish.
If you’re working with an avi in virtualdub there’s “double arrows at the bottom” to move frame by frame. Once you get to the “first frame you want to delete” click the “next to last button on the right” (mark in). Then move frame by frame to the “last frame you want to delete” and click “the very last button at the bottom right” (mark out). Then go to edit and choose “delete”. Make sure you have direct stream copy for both audio and video (or it will recompress everything!!!) and then choose save.

wasup Guest | u didnt get it. read again:
“I know I could do it manually, but there r 100s of parts”
I need a tool that AUTO-find the duplicated frames, so I dont need to find and delete one by one.
thanks anyway
