Don’t use “WIN AVI” . Perfect picture but audio goes outer sink. Leave it as Kvcd & wait till the DVD comes out. simple

Did you open the file and click on the SILVER/GREY
Button. Then NERO pops up- press burn.

If you’re having trouble getting ur kvcd to work after downloading either burn to a cd or get a virtual dvd drive and mount it and then watch through windows media player

KVCD absolutely sucks but a lot of people are creating video in that format. To convert a regular .DAT file to AVI, I always used to simply unhide the file extensions in Folder Options -> View tab and then change the extension from DAT to AVI. Always worked but won’t if it is a goofy KVCD.

Anyone know how to successfully convert a KVCD to AVI or MPEG? Nero will not do it, DVD Santa will not do it! I have no interest in burning any vcd format to cdr. CDR’s are more expensive than DVDR’s now because the marketer’s are trying to force CDR off the market. That is why computers usualy come with DVD Burners. CDR technology is obsolete! Even PC Games come on DVD’s now. Who wants to insert the next disc to continue to install when the entire game can be placed on 1 DVD!

with kvcd you also can burn 5 movies to 1 dvd wink
but it sucks because my dvd player can’t play it:P

if you just want to play it on your pc get vlc player you just drag cue file on to it an it plays but for burning to play on a dvd player you need to convert to avi but pic is all ways crapy so y waist the $$$$ on the dvd cheaper to get a 20$ dvd player that plays dvix vcd kvcd and talking bout caps and dongs i kinda gay imo

FUCK ALL YOU FUCKERS FUCK FUCKIT DID FUCK.

BTW TO CONVERT FUCKING KVCD OR BIN/CUE FILES SIMPLY BURN THEM TO A CD, OTHERWISE DOWNLOAD THE XP CODEC PACK.. (SEARCH IN GOOGLE) AFTER THAT IS DOWNLOADED IT WILL EVEN PLAY THE KVCD’S ON THE COMPUTER THROUGH USING THE CD PLAYER.. AND AUTOMATIC PLAY ON ENTRY.

OTHERWISE.. I RECENTLY WENT TO CHINA AND BOUGHT A DVD PLAYER BY SAMSUG.. JUST BURN ALL THE FILES TO A DVD AND IT PLAYS THEM ALL IN SEQUENCE....! I HAVE LIKE 20 MOVIES ON A DISC. AND NO ITS NO BLURAY.

NOW FUCK OFF!
FUCKIN FUCKID FUCK!

I’m with cuds here re: you guys are stupid wink; you guys should refrain from posting unless you can form coherent answers that are actually correct -.-

Telling people to buy some off brand mp3 player to play their Kvcds without having to convert is not the right answer, nor is going “why do you want to bother converting kvcd? just use vlc/etc” - try: divx/xvid capable dvd players that don’t read kvcd, for one simple answer. And NO the “solution to convert kvcd” isn’t to tell someone to burn the kvcd to a cd first and then rip that. That’s fairly retarded, takes longer, wastes a cd, etc. Mount the image with a virtual drive tool or open the .bin/.iso with an iso opener and extract the KVCD .dat file. Then use whatever to convert it to whatever format you like, OR as mentioned, use the afformentioned vcdgear program that lets you skip this.

You shouldn’t need a resize program to fix *WIDESCREEN* issues; you need a good player that has resizeable windows and/or fullscreen mode, like vlc. Only reason to “resize” (downconvert) is to save space (and lose quality).

Advanced X Video Converter is the way to go when trying to covert dat. vcd kvcd and much more you can convert them to tons of various formats im pretty sure one of the programs you use will be compatible with one of the formats i usually convert them to avi then use convert x to dvd it converts the avi to dvd format and burns it for you in my opinion as far as burning movies tis program make nero look terrible

you bunch of muppets
if you r using nero dont use the make own dvd feature, go to the feature burn image to disk and it’s as easy as that. The kvcd image is ready to burn right away, it does not need to be converted. Mind and use a cd and not dvd.

you need to use poweriso , or isobuster, extracy “file”.dat to your desktop and then rename “file”.dat to “moviename”.mpg, then use convertxtodvd to convert the mpg to vob files that will play in any standalone dvd player

thatdudedizzy, check out my kvcd to dvd conversion on demonoid.com
