Jester Guest | With my new BenQ Burner I figured out how to burn full screen now but for some reason during movies that I burn they will suddenly pause and you have to fast forward to get it moving again, and at the end of the movie it always skips allot???? What could be the reason for all this pausing and skipping and how could I fix it?? Should I continue using Divxto DVD or should I use an alternative program

If the playback is smooth, then the dvd drive is likely too slow, or perhaps the disc surface is scratched.
If the playback is still choppy, then it’s more likely an encoding issue. I should ask: are you encoding on-the-fly? As in are you encoding as you’re burning or encoding in real time? Or are you encoding to your hard disk first, then burning later?

Jester Guest | I think it encodes on the fly. IF I copy it to hard disc could I burn it using a differnent program? I encode while i burn should I be recording to hard disc first?

Even with today’s top processors, if there happens to be a background task that pops up and takes up cpu power it could ruin your encoding session. Best to encode to the hard disk first, then burn later. (Hard disks are much faster than cd’s/dvd’s).
