Hal Hoffman Guest | How do I change /copy DVD audio files to mp3 or wav files so I can burn them onto a CD to listen to in my CD player. There are 2 folders on the DVd one labeled Audio_TS , Video_TS. The Audio_TS folder is empty the Video_TS folder has files with extensions .VOB (which are quite large), .BUP and IFO extensions which are small files. Specifically, how do I convert these files so I can copy the audio part of the DVD onto a CDR-R so it can be played on a cd player. What sites provide good information so I can learn how to do this. Thanks for any help you can give, if this is possible to do. | |

classified Guest | the audio folder will be empty.the audio track is in the vob files.
there are a couple of ways to get the audio.
to get it off the dvd:use smart ripper or dvddecrypter.there is a option to demux the ac3.
if the vobs are on the hard drive:use dvd2avi to demux ac3 or wav.
use HeadAC3he to convert one format to another.
