Just bought an Omnitech MP4 15217 downloaded some songs and it comes up with “no authority” Files show the songs are there. Can hear them when still connected to computer, but as a standalone cannot access songs.
What am I doing wrong. Running on XP

you have to recharge the battery by using the usb cord and connecting it to the computer.

I bought this thing for my husband for a xmas present and it worked fine for a little bit. I am going on a trip and wanted to add music to it. I was getting frustrated because it is saying the same things yours are saying. I guess it is a piece of junk! I am going to try to take it back to staples.
