Rubicon1230 Guest | Running Windows XP Home with 2.4GHZ AMD processor and 1G RAM. I am trying to convert a 40 minute AVI file into DVD format so I can watch it on a normal TV. After converting around 25 minutes of the file my PC shutsdown with no warning or error messages. It does not matter which program I use - Nero DVDSanta etc. I get the same result. I can play the AVI file perfectly from end to end with Windows Media Player.
On another PC I can perform the conversion no problem using the same tools, same version etc.
Any Ideas?

Death666 Guest | AVI2DVD also does a great job, with very few problems.
It will even convert PAL to NTSC and NTSC to PAL.
